We are sad to announce that on July 9, 2024, at the age of 80, Wayne A. Cekola of Washington, Pennsylvania, born in Monessen, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Wayne departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Wayne. Though Wayne may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John J. Cekola and Elma Pinasko Cekola; his wife Ronaele DeiCas Cekola; and his sister Elsie Cekola Miller. He is survived by: his children, Wayne A. Cekola II, John L. Cekola and Amy B. Cekola-Miah; his grandchildren, Anisa, Nura, Ryyan and Hana Miah; and his sister Elma "Babe" Cekola Studnicki. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
