He was predeceased by: his parents, J. Stanley Mitchell and Althea Mitchell (Thompson). He is survived by: his wife Sharon; his daughters, Cindy Mitchell Herpolsheimer and Kristi Mitchell Rathburn; his grandchildren, Calvin (Gabrielle), Jay, Kaylie Herpolsheimer, Marcus and Mitchell Rathburn; his siblings, Diane Mann, Eric Mitchell (Diane), Denise Davis (Steve), Kent Mitchell (Amy) and Scott Mitchell (Brenda); his in-laws, Sumner (Pat), David Bemis (Casey) and Marilyn Bemis; and his close friends, Johnnie and Ginger. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
