Leon Mackowski Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Leon Mackowski of Waterford, Pennsylvania, who passed away on August 2, 2025 at the age of 56. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Stanley Mackowski; and his in-laws, Larry and Juanita Thompson. He is survived by: his mother Marilyn Burkell Mackowski; his sons, Justin (Abby) and Brandon (Natalie); his brothers, Keith (Barb) and Steve Sr. (Joy); his brothers-in-law, Larry (Lisa), Norm and Chuck Thompson (Laurie); his godparents, David and Pat Mackowski; and also, Leon and Susan Thompson Mackowski.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 6th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Van Matre Funeral Home (105 Walnut St, Waterford, PA 16441). A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, August 7th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of Peace Church (2401 W 38th St, Erie, PA 16506).
