He was predeceased by: his parents, Nathan "Pete" Carr and Irene Gertrude Hodges Carr; his sisters, Sandra Ragen and Melody Cornell; and his wife Diane Long Carr.
He is survived by: his children, Carol Smith (Troy), Cindy Clark (Scott), Joyce Carr (Doug Mullinax) and Ralph Carr II (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Heather Miller (Chris), Grant Smith (Patricia Wolfson), Brent Clark (Caitlin), Michaela Jones (Broderick), Katie Carr, Brady Kamper, Ashley Carr and Sarah Mullinax; and his former wife Darlene Smith. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Van Matre Funeral Home (105 Walnut St, Waterford, PA 16441). A memorial service will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of your choosing.
