It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ronald Blake Sharp Sr. of Waterford, Pennsylvania, who passed away on May 16, 2025, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ethel Sharp Morehouse and Orton; his wife Mary Ann Sharp (Kerr); his siblings, Evelyn M. Mozur (Sharp) and Frank Orton Sharp; and his son-in-law Donald Flood.
He is survived by: his family, Terry Sharp Flood of Erie, Ronald "Blake" Sharp Jr. (LuAnn) of Mill Village, Larry Sharp (Jacquiri Sharp) and Diane Sharp Hill of Pittsburgh. He is also survived by six grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, May 20th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Van Matre Funeral Home (105 Walnut St, Waterford, PA 16441). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, May 21st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Mill Village Presbyterian Church (14390 N Main St, Waterford, PA 16441).
Memorials may be made to the Mill Village Presbyterian Church or to the Mill Village Fire Department.
