He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry R. Hans and Edna Hans (Burns); his son Jerry Hans; and his siblings, Harry, Elwood, Frank "Freeman", Harvey, Roger Hans, Erma McLaughlin, Grace McLaughlin, Alma Seibert, Catherine Hans, Daisy Snyder and Ione Grow.
He is survived by: his children, Pete F. Hans, Jr. (Tammy) of Picture Rocks, Timothy J. Hans (Christine) of Lewisburg, Rodney W. Hans (Bernice) of Muncy, Paula J. Wright (James) of Watsontown and Brenda J. Springer (Donny) of Watsontown. He is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions in his memory be made to a charity of one's choice.
