We announce the death of Alton Young of Wattsburg, Pennsylvania, who passed away on May 30, 2026, at the age of 95. Alton will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, George B. Young and Mabel Emory Young; his wife Leatrice Louise Cobb Young; his daughter Georgia L. Young Shrout; and his brother Milton G. Young.
He is survived by: his son Paul H. Young of Wattsburg; his grandchildren, Renee L. Melton (James) of Montana, Brian P. Young (Suzanne) of Wattsburg and Thomas Shrout (Deonna) of Wattsburg; his great grandchildren, Dana and Ryan Melton; and his grandchildren, Gunnar, Emmry, Grant Young, Alexander and Evelyn Shrout.
