With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William A. Gottschling of Wattsburg, Pennsylvania, born in Erie, Pennsylvania, who passed away on November 11, 2022 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, William J. Gottschling and Mary Jarmolowicz Gottschling; and his brother Robert Gottschling. He is survived by: his wife Marjorie A. Hoetzel; his sons, Timothy Gottschling (Julie) of Greene Twp, Barry Gottschling (Tess) of Corry and Jeffrey Gottschling (Laurie) of Millcreek; his grandchildren, Meagan Gottschling of Corry, Katie and Tyler Gottschling of Greene Twp; his stepgrandchildren, Bethany Burlingame of Claymont, Paul of Erie, Patrick (Sarah) of Erie and Christina Duris of Erie; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Brooks of Erie and Brady Duris of Erie; and his sister Mary Ann Bottoni of Erie. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
