He was predeceased by: his parents, John Churla and Wanda Churla (Malinowski); and his brother Daniel Churla. He is survived by: his wife Linda (Lolli); his daughter Marya Gernhardt (Roy) of Clarks Summit; his grandchildren, Emma and RJ Gernhardt; his sisters, Sister Josita Churla and Theresa Burgio; and his son-in-law Dr. Roy Gernhardt. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
