It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gilbert C. Satre of Waymart, Pennsylvania, born in Brooklyn, New York, who passed away on November 6, 2022, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Walter I. Satre and Jesse Satre (Merritt); and his brother Richard Satre. He is survived by : his wife Julia Lois Hoffman; his daughters, Lois Schiavetta of Bethpage, NY, Suzanne Pucci (William) of Kyle, TX, Carla Satre of Honesdale and Kristina Murphy (Andrew) of Cherry Ridge; and his brother Walter I. Satre, Jr. of New Jersey. He is also survived by 5 granddaughters, 7 grandsons, and 8 great grandchildren.
