With profound sadness, we say goodbye to John B. Dunning Sr. of Waymart, Pennsylvania, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. John left this world on July 6, 2025 at the age of 90, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his mother Louise Dunning (Grob); his children, Howard S. Dunning and Bethlynn Dunning; and his brothers, Richard Dunning and Elwood Dunning.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Anne Mackle; his father Stephen Dunning; his children, Cheryl Gray, John B. Dunning, Jr., Dona Rosario and Shaun Dunning (Megan); and his stepchildren, Kelly White (Tom) and James Vinton (Karen). He is also survived by several grandchildren; and great-grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Wednesday, July 9th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Howell Family Funeral Home (269 Belmont St, Waymart, PA 18472). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
