With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Robert A. Giannella Sr. of Waymart, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 12, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Jacqueline DeSalvo; his parents, Ralph Giannella, and Marietta Giannella, Sr.; and his sister Antoinette. He is survived by: his son Rob Giannella, Jr. (Stacey); his grandchildren, Matthew and Adriana Giannella; his siblings, Ralph, Frances, Mary and Tommy; his siblings-in-law, Carol, Dennis and Butch; and his siblings' children, Mark, Megan, Marlene, Jamie, Andrew, Mary and Alexander.
A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, November 11th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Joseph W. Scotchlas Funeral Home, Inc. (621 Main St, Simpson, PA 18407).
