With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Irene B. Kostige of Wayne, Pennsylvania, born in Scranton, Pennsylvania, who passed away on April 6, 2024. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Irene B. Kostige to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her sons-in-law, Richard Worzel and Samuel Kutz; and her siblings, Anthony, Stanley Pawloski, Estelle Mignerey, Stephanie Oprisko and Helen Davis.

She is survived by : her daughters, Patricia Worzel of Lackawaxen and Nancy Kutz of Hawley; her grandsons, Christopher Kutz and Mark Worzel; and her great grandchild Richard Worzel. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Hemlock Hollow Schoolhouse c/o the Dime Bank 309 Main Ave. Hawley, PA 18428.
