We are sad to announce that on May 10, 2025, at the age of 71, Joan Rita Packer of Wayne, Pennsylvania, born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She is survived by: her parents, Henry Dougherty and Joan Dougherty of Glenside, PA; her husband James "Herb" Packer; her children, Meghan Heath (Matthew) and Kevin Packer (Liza); her grandchildren, Mason, Lillian Packer, Nora and Owen Heath; her siblings, Joseph Dougherty (Kathleen), Rosemary Merrigan (Thomas Cuce), Michael Dougherty (Betsy), Margaret Paul (Charles), Agnes Cochrane (Stephen Michel), Kathleen Donlevie (Michael), Ruth Lynch (Frederick), David Dougherty (Janice) and Matthew Dougherty (Kim); and her sister-in-law Ellen Woodworth (Stephen). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
