He was predeceased by: his father James Yhelka Sr.; his sons, Dakota Joe Olinger and Joey Yhelka; his brothers, James Yhelka Jr. and Scott Duncan; and his stepfather Tim Casuccio.
He is survived by: his mother Margaret "Peg" Duncan Cassucio of Ellwood City; his wife Tonya Yhelka; and his children, Kenneth Shirley (Alex) of Ellwood City, Stephen Shirley of Ellwood City, Dustin Shirley of Koppel, Dylan Olinger of Shenango Twp, Nathan Yhelka (Arica) of Ellwood City, Ashley Shirley of New Castle and Linda Yhelka of Ellwood City. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren.
