He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Josephine Frank Zelov and Randolph Dickinson Zelov; his wife Suzanne; his daughter Espy; his siblings, Randolph (Debra) and Charenton; his uncle Vic; and his cousin Scott. He was also cherished by 8 nieces and nephews, and 12 grand nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his memory to Bryn Mawr Hospital and Thomas Jefferson University Hospital.
