She was predeceased by: her parents, Galen A. Smith, Sr. and Rachel L. Smith (Alexander); her son Robert G. Stoops; and her brother Keith F. "Smitty" Smith. She is survived by: her fiancé Dale L. Stoops; her children, Elizabeth Sweeny of Chambersburg, PA, John Stoops of Waynesboro and George Stoops of Waynesboro; and her brother Galen A. "Junior" Smith, Jr.. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
