He was predeceased by: his parents, James Harris and Cleona Harris (Bowman); his son Toby; and his siblings, Beverly Miller, Patsy Harris and Joseph Harris.
He is survived by: his wife Diane Harris (Souders); his children, James Dobbins, Curtis Dobbins, Douglas Harris, David Harris, Jr. and Shelley Hams; and his pet Sheeba. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews as well as a host of extended family.
