He was predeceased by: his parents, James Rodney and Hilda Rodney (Liebhardt); his brothers, Edward, Richard, Raymond and Michael Rodney; and his stepdaughter Holly McLeod.
He is survived by: his wife Susan A. Rodney (Rezsnyak); his stepchildren, Gerard P. Stone, Mark W. Stone (Jennifer) and Sarah J. Haines (Jason); his stepgrandchildren, Erin Hansen, Andrew VanDerStuyf, Jr., Sydney Stone, Benjamin Stone, Anna Stone, Erik Stone, Olivia Haines, Samuel Stone, Christopher Stone and Adaline Haines; his sister Anita Paradise; and his nieces, Alaina Paradise, Katherine Broom (Katie) and Katherine Rodney.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 26th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Rocky Gap Veterans Cemetery (14205 Pleasant Valley Rd NE, Flintstone, MD 21530).
