He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil T. Linkous and June Rickey Linkous; and his brother Wayne Linkous (Nancy) of Quinton, VA.. He is survived by: his wife Marsha Clements Linkous; his children, Tracy Mason (Chad) of Montpelier, VA, Bennie Smith (Wendy) of Henrico, VA, Rachel and Garrel of Smithsburg, MD.; his grandchildren, Karsyn, Brady Mason, Anna Marie Williams, Aaron Smith, Summer Jackson, Zachary and Garrel; his great grandchild Harley Faith Jackson; his brother Eddie Linkous (Kay) of Columbia, SC.; and his father-in-law Thomas Clements.
