We are sad to announce that on February 28, 2025, at the age of 84, Donald Leon Sweeney of Waynesboro, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Sweeney and Blanche Welch Sweeney; his son Preston Long Jr.; and his siblings, Betty, Blanche Toms and Elmer "Sonny" Sweeney (Pat).
He is survived by: his wife Patricia M. Long Sweeney; his son D. Kevin Sweeney of Waynesboro; and his siblings, Ruth Wilhide, Joy Lookingbill (Bob), John Sweeney (Patty), Ken Sweeney (Donna), Joe Sweeney (Judy) and Bern Sweeney (Terry). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
