It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ethel V. (Saunders) Clevenger of Waynesboro, Pennsylvania, who passed away on May 19, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Willbur Saunders and Vada V. Saunders; her former husband Clark Patterson; her husband Dean Clevenger; and her children, Susan Ruth Patterson, Melissa L. Clevenger-Stoner and Donald Patterson.
She is survived by: her children, Clark W. Patterson, Jr. (Lavonda) of Fayetteville, Ronald E. Patterson (Roxanne) of Waynesboro, Cindy M. Welsh (Mark) of Chambersburg and Star D. Patterson of Mont Alto, PA; and her children-in-law, Debbie Patterson of Waynesboro and Junior Stoner. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; three sisters; and many extended family.
