He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Potochney and Mary Potochney (Ogorzalek). He is survived by: his wife Gretchen K. Potochney (Bock); his son Jeffrey J. Potochney (Patsy) of New Jersey; his grandsons, Maxwell and Samuel; and his brother Norman Potochney of Massachusetts.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Grove-Bowersox Funeral Home (50 S Broad St, Waynesboro, PA 17268). A funeral service was held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one's choice.
