He was predeceased by: his parents, Lee Layman and Mary Katharine Miller (Powell); and his siblings, Ernie Layman, Arlene Duke and Barbara Cutsail.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara M. Layman (Hoover); his daughters, Linda Prince (Wendell) of South Carolina and Lori DeLue (John) of Colorado; his granddaughter Nicole DeLue; and his half-brothers, Jae Miller of Maryland and Rick Miller of Maryland. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Church of the Transfiguration (13646 Summit Ave, Blue Ridge Summit, PA 17214).
