She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond K. Gardenhour and Leona Otto Gardenhour. She is survived by: her husband James P. Mattern; her children, Jeffery Burger (Misa), Gary Burger (Linda) and Kirby Burger (Jim Sitter); her stepchildren, James Mattern, Jr. (Mira), Jack Mattern (Julia) and Karen Summers; and her sisters, Mary Happel and Carolyn Williams. She is also survived by three grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, three step-children, four step-grandchildren, two step-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
