We bid farewell to Mary E. (Rhodes) DeWees of Waynesboro, Pennsylvania, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on July 9, 2025 at the age of 76. Though Mary E. may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Mary E. touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Beverly Omar Rhodes and Tomalee Rae Rhodes (Noland). She is survived by: her daughter Cindy Broas (Michael) of Waynesboro, PA.; her grandchildren, Andrew Broas and Addison Broas of Waynesboro; and her sister Carolyn Tetley of Grand Terrace. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Rouzerville Community Center (11962 Old Rte 16, Waynesboro, PA 17268).
