She was predeceased by : her parents, George W., Jr. and Mary V. Rowe (Green); her husband Richard E. Kennedy; and her siblings, Frances Baker, Peggy Jones and George W. "Sonny" Rowe, III.

She is survived by : her children, Ricky L. Kennedy of Williamsport, MD, S. Jean Freeman (Mike) of Quincy, Barbara A. Henicle (Mark) of Waynesboro, Nancy L. Wolford (Jeff) of Mont Alto, Gary E. Kennedy (Sandy) of Gettysburg and John F. Kennedy (Carolyn) of Waynesboro; and her siblings, Shirley Spencer of Waynesboro, Dolly M. McFerren of Fayetteville, Robert L. "Tom" Rowe, Sr. of Waynesboro, Linda L. "Pat" Campbell of Waynesboro, Alice F. Faith of Waynesboro, Betty A. Kauffman of Waynesboro, Doris A. "Dorie" Freeman of Quincy, Debbie A. Crouse of Greencastle, Sue A. Gates of Smithsburg, Terry L. Rowe Waynesboro and Larry W. Baker of Hagerstown. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Sunday, May 12th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Grove-Bowersox Funeral Home (50 S Broad St, Waynesboro, PA 17268). A graveside service was held on Monday, May 13th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Parklawns Memorial Gardens (3218 Philadelphia Ave, Chambersburg, PA 17201).
