It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nancy Carol Grimes of Waynesboro, Pennsylvania, who passed away on May 11, 2024, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Roy Herman Hovis and Thelma Naomi Hovis (Muth); her husband Ronald Grimes of Platteville, WI; and her siblings, Donald (Shirley), Earl and Jere Hovis.

She is survived by : her daughters, Kristin Standafer (Charles Ross) of Burnsville, MN and Angela Sroufe (Bill) of McPherson, KS; her grandchildren, Nathaniel and Lucinda Standafer of Burnsville, MN; her brothers, Richard Hovis (Linda) of Waynesboro, Kenny Hovis (Evelyn) of Waynesboro and Jeffery Hovis (Deborah) of Hanover, PA.; and her sister-in-law Emily Hovis of Waynesboro. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and grand and great nieces/nephews.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, June 30th 2024 at 4:00 PM at the Waynesboro Church of the Brethren (117 S Church St, Waynesboro, PA 17268).
