He was predeceased by: his parents, Austin V. Martin and Lilian I. Martin; and his siblings, Vernon "Gene" Martin and Delores "Dee" Hammond. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth "Betsy" Martin; his sons, Rodney Martin (Becky), Phillip Martin (Teresa) and Richard Martin (Tina); his grandchildren, Maddie, Austin (Emma), Jack and Josh; and his sister Shirley M. Clopper (Ernest). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church (15 N Main St, Smithsburg, MD 21783). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Trinity Lutheran Church (15 N Main St, Smithsburg, MD 21783).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Ronnie's honor to Trinity Lutheran Church, Smithsburg, MD.
