She was predeceased by: her parents, Elwood Armstrong and Betty Hornbaker Armstrong; and her sister Betty Jean Commer. She is survived by: her husband Lennis E. Barnhart; her daughter Mellodie M. Barnhart of Waynesboro, PA; her sister Patricia Hart (Richard) of Greencastle, PA; her half-brother Gary Mason; and her brother-in-law Anthony "Tony" Commer of Pinesburg, MD.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 7th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Harold M. Zimmerman & Son Funeral Home Inc. (45 S Carlisle St, Greencastle, PA 17225). A celebration of life was held on Friday, November 7th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Harold M. Zimmerman and Son Funeral Home, Inc. (45 S Carlisle St, Greencastle, PA 17225).
