He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Prevost, Sr. and Rosie Katherine Nance; his son Melvin Prevost; and his siblings, Betty Gordon, Marceline Hopkins, Gertrude Reed, Wanda Powers, Albert Prevost, Jr. and Thomas Prevost.
He is survived by: his children, Phillip Prevost (Donna) of Aleppo, Hazel Bechtol of Ohio, Robert Prevost of Texas, Lindy Prevost of Waynesburg, Donnie Prevost (Lisa) of Prosperity, Eulalia Glenndening (Donald) of Indiana, Tonie Prevost of Indiana and Carol Miller (Howard) of Washington; his stepsons, Charles Prevost of Washington and Mark Prevost (Tina Kennedy) of Waynesburg; and his siblings, Annie Grenell of Avella, Linda Pierson of Avella and Charles Prevost of Bridgeville. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
