He was predeceased by: his parents, Abraham Burkey and Ella Burkey (Drumbor); and his brother Paul. He is survived by: his wife Martha M. Burkey (Woodring); his daughter Bonnie S. Michael (Art) of Weatherly; his grandchildren, Michelle McCloskey (Brandon) and Scott Michael (Jaime); and his great grandchildren, Cameron and Adleigh. He is also survived by 2 nieces and cousins.
