Metzgar (Hoffert); his children, Barbara Slenzak (Mark), Heather Meyers (John), John F. Metzgar, Jr., Stephen Metzgar and Brian Metzgar; and his sister Mary Lamoreaux (Bill). He is also survived by six grandchildren; three great grandchildren.
