She was predeceased by: her parents, George T. Miller and Marion Miller (Beers); her husband John E. Hess; her sisters, Evelyn Seitzinger, Betty Snyder, Marion Durange and Jane Miller; and her grandson Jared Hess.
She is survived by: her sons, Jay E. Hess (Debra) of Leland, NC and Walter C. Hess (Jo Ann) of Weatherly; her grandchildren, Jessica Hampf (Michael), Jessie Hess, Walter Hess, Crystal Mayernick (Ed) and Robert Wisler (Bobbi Lynn); and her niece Mary. She is also survived by 7 great grandchildren.
