Clair Moore Obituary
We are sad to announce that on September 25, 2025, at the age of 95, Clair Moore of Wellsboro, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Moore and Grace Moore (Loope); his wife Iva Moore (Short); his son Clair Moore, Jr.; his grandsons, Christopher, Bradley and Donald; and his siblings, William, Ruth, Walter, Anna, Charles, Sadie, Grace, Ben, Abraham, John and Edward.
He is survived by: his children, Perry Moore (Kerri), Michael Moore (Nancy), Cora English of Aseph, PA, Cynthia Baker (Jeffrey) of Wellsboro, PA, Sandra Casher (Timothy) of Wellsboro, PA and Laura Moore of Wellsboro, PA; and his sister Harriet Janice of Scranton, PA.. He is also survived by nineteen grandchildren; several great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc. (637 S Main St, Mansfield, PA 16933). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 at the Tioga County Memorial Gardens (61 Memorial Gardens Rd, Mansfield, PA 16933).
