She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry D. Krause and Florence Krause (Briston); her husband Carl L. Smith; her sister Vivian Roby; and her brothers-in-law, Donald Smith and Bob Roby.
She is survived by: her children, Thomas Smith (Sandy) of Wellsboro and Judy Smithgall (Ed) of Wellsboro. She is also survived by six grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren.
