Joan M. Lewis Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan M. Lewis of Wellsboro, Pennsylvania, who passed away on June 3, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Joan is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Joan's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Francis and Margaret Francis (Keck); and her sister-in-law Phyllis Francis. She is survived by: her husband Don Lewis of Wellsboro; her children, Scott Lewis (Tami) of Wellsboro and Cathy Driebelbies (Timothy) of Wellsboro; and her brother Ronald Francis of Bridgeport, WV.. She is also survived by five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.
Viewing will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Tussey-Mosher Funeral Home (139 Main St, Wellsboro, PA 16901). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
