Lucille A. Whitney Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lucille A. Whitney of Wellsboro, Pennsylvania, who passed away on July 21, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Theodore Sykora and Doris Sykora (Williams); her siblings, Lana Bennett and Theodore Sykora; and her siblings-in-law, Joyce Sykora, Dolly Clark, Bob Bennett and Jerry Whitney.
She is survived by: her husband Donald L. Whitney; her daughters, Tina Kreisler (Eric) of Wellsboro and Lynette Lehman of Wellsboro; her brothers, Tim Sykora of Galeton and David Sykora of Weeki Wachee, FL; her sisters-in-law, Wendy Sykora of Galeton and Lora Whitney of Clarksville, TN; her grandchildren, Mitchel Kreisler (Sarah), Spencer Kreisler (Emily), Chelsea Lehman and Baylea Owlett (Brandon); and her great grandchildren, Braydyn Lehman, Decker Owlett, Ivory Owlett, Avery Knight-Kreisler and Adley Owlett. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Tussey-Mosher Funeral Home (139 Main St, Wellsboro, PA 16901). A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Peter's Catholic Church (38 Central Ave, Wellsboro, PA 16901).
