He is survived by: his wife Linda M Abernathy of Wellsboro, PA; his children, Eric Abernathy of Wellsboro, PA and Tracey Schmouder (Bob) of Wellsboro, PA; his stepchildren, Allyn Townsend of Wellsboro, PA, Brian Townsend (Dianna) of Middlebury Center, PA and Denise Shelmire (Ray) of Wellsboro, PA; his siblings, Leland Abernathy of Elmira, NY and Linda Tice (Tom) of Mansfield, PA; and his grandchildren, Dylan Abernathy, Jordyn Abernathy, Braeden Abernathy, Kilion Schmouder, Danielle Southard, Trisha Tanner, Brianna Huck of Brad Townsend, A. J and Colby Shelmire. He is also survived by 6 great grandchildren.
