He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Boyer and Mabel Boyer (Corl). He is survived by: his children, Thom S. Boyer (Chris), Phoebe Ann Weidemoyer and Alecia Ann Spayd. He is also survived by four grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.
