He was predeceased by : his parents, Elmer George and Mary George. He is survived by : his wife Paula Cobb George; his children, Coty Tarr (Ashlee), Kyle Tarr and Olivia Anderson (Jordan); his stepchildren, George Locy, Matthew Kraushaar and Shauna Cobb (Tyler McConn); and his sister Doreen Lynch (Dennis).
