She was predeceased by: her parents, James Kavanagh and Agnes Kavanagh; her husband John J. Cahir, MD; and her siblings, James, Robert, Helen Scudder, Virginia, Julia Horton and Richard.
She is survived by: her children, Stephen Cahir (Linda), Margaret Cahir, Nancy Flesch (Robert) and Jim Cahir (Amy); her grandchildren, Amanda (Mike), Robert, Catie, Clare, Sean, Alexa and Bridget; and her great grandchildren, Stella, Vivian and Julia. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
