He is survived by: his wife Nancy Louise Blackwood; his children, Andrew Watterson Blackwood, IV, Ruth Cruz (Clarman) and Deborah Whalley (Brian); his grandchildren, Xeor and Naomi Cruz; his aunt Louise Blackwood; his sister Margaret DeVries; his sister-in-law Sandra Blackwood; and his nieces and nephews, Dylan DeVries, Lee Blackwood, Jay Knowles, William Little Jr., Ashley Blackwood, Elizabeth Little, Amy Knowles and Tara Knowles Dilorenzo.
