He is survived by: his wife Maria Birtwistle Schlichtig; his children, Tammy Crozier (Colin), Bret Schlichtig and Tara Schlichtig; and his sister Suzanne Gross (Fran).
A memorial donation may be sent in lieu of flowers to any of his three favorite charities: Wounded Warriors, Tunnel to Towers or St. Jude Children Hospital.
