He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas J. Sapp and Verlon Williams Sapp Ashmore; his wife Anna Mary Ashmore (Priebe); his son Steven Charles Ashmore; and his siblings, Jack Ashmore (Lavina) and Louise Combs.
He is survived by: his daughter Serena Ashmore Callahan (John); his grandchildren, Brendan, Ian Callahan, Lucy and Giboney Ashmore; and his siblings, Elizabeth Bond (Bruce), Linda Sunshine, James Ashmore (Sherry) and Chris Ashmore. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
