She was predeceased by: her husband Milton Baker Helmuth; her parents, Raymond Spencer and Elizabeth Syng Justice Shortlidge; and her sibling Justice Spencer Shortlidge of Paoli. She is survived by: her children, Garrett Keller Helmuth (Cathy Leigh), Elizabeth Syng Abraham (John Edward) and Spencer Evan Helmuth (Cathleen Marie); her grandchildren, Valeri Frances Lovell (Edward Alton, Jr.), Melissa Syng Abraham and Spencer Ryan Helmuth; her great grandchildren, Olivia Syng, Hayleigh Grace and Norah Leigh; her sister-in-law Doris Keslick Shortlidge; and her nieces, Amy Cox and Karen Vadner.
