He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald A. Smyth and Margaret J. Smyth; and his father-in-law Bernard W. Bieniasz. He is survived by: his wife Michele; his children, Sabrina and Grant; his brother Gregg Smyth of Fort Myers, FL.; his niece Katie Smyth-Jourdan; and his nephew Corey Smyth (Tiffany).
