She was predeceased by: her parents, Percy Miller and Gladys Harris Miller; her son William Herber Sloane (Bill); and her siblings, William Miller, Thomas G Miller, Earl Percy Miller, Gladys Miller Powell, Mattie Harris Miller Dorsey and Ella Miller Hines.
She is survived by: her son Lenard Sloane; her daughter-in-law Carol Sloane of Somerset; and her goddaughters, Lisa Loper Anderson and Nishaya "Niya" Twyman. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
