He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Donovan, Jr. and Evelyn McCully Donovan; and his sons, John Michael and James Christopher. He is survived by: his wife Frances Neidig Donovan; his daughters, Terri Belonzi and Betsy Smith; and his grandchildren, Becky Tengwall, Christine Friedel, Tim Smith, Christian Smith and Mallory Smith. He is also survived by 14 great grandchildren.
