He was predeceased by: his spouse Aleen C. Sciandra (Schuh); his parents, Joseph John and Lucy Sciandra (Vaccaro); his son James, Jr.; and his granddaughter Jamie.
He is survived by: his children, Darlene (Keith), Joe (Carl) and John; his grandchildren, Jason (Marlo), Matthew (Stephanie), Megan (Ben), Corianne (Derek) and Nichole; and his grandson-in-law Isaac Sauer. He is also survived by seven great grandchildren.
